ITB Berlin From London Piccadilly

The PB team attended the ITB Berlin 2010 this year which took place from 10-14 March. ITB Berlin was open to trade visitors from Wednesday to Friday and during those days we were able to establish new contacts and meet new contacts throughout. On Wednesday we landed in Berlin and we found our way to the huge fair ground with our bags full of brochures and merchandising. We met people from all branches of the tourism sector and enjoyed the numerous stands and demonstrations. As you can imagine the most important part of these events is the networking which usually extends to the local bars, discos and clubs......tedious but we were briefed by our boss to take every opportunity to meet new people!? After a massive breakfast I made my way back to the gigantic travel fair ITB. We spent most of the time in Hall 2.1 /2.2 where we had the pleasure to meet all companies connected to the Youth Travel. We spent a bit of time between appointments watching musical and dancing performances by some countries. Once again later that evening we studiously continued our networking and re-enacted the numerous international dances. Our aim in terms of business was to restart co-operation with old partners and to strengthen our business relationship with existing partners. ITB was the perfect place to achieve our objective! For us ITB Berlin was also an ideal opportunity to meet new partners from all over the world and invest into new relationship. If we missed you will look to hearing from you.
